Quick Instructions from the Channel Z Administrators
Setting & Saving your User ID and Password:
1) Click the ‘Setup...’ button.
2) Enter your User ID and Password into the spaces provided.
3) Click the ‘Save’ button.
4) Click the ‘Login’ button to call Channel Z.
Disable Call Waiting:
1) Click the ‘Setup...’ button.
2) Click the ‘Change..’ button.
3) Add ‘*70,’ before ‘581-4975’ it should look like *70,581-4975.
4) Click the ‘OK’ button.
5) Click the ‘Save’ button.
6) Click the ‘Login’ button to call Channel Z.
Change the Phone Number for Long Distance callers:
1) Click the ‘Setup...’ button.
2) Click the ‘Change..’ button.
3) Add ‘1805-’ before ‘581-4975’ it should look like 1805-581-4975
4) Click the ‘OK’ button.
5) Click the ‘Save’ button.
6) Click the ‘Login’ button to call Channel Z.
Disable Call Waiting & Change the Phone Number for Long Distance callers:
1) Click the ‘Setup...’ button.
2) Click the ‘Change..’ button.
3) Add ‘*70,1805-’ before ‘581-4975’ it should look like *70,1805-581-4975
4) Click the ‘OK’ button.
5) Click the ‘Save’ button.
6) Click the ‘Login’ button to call Channel Z.
Change Modem Setup:
1) Click the ‘Setup...’ button.
2) Click the ‘Change..’ button.
3) Click and hold where it says ‘Hayes® Compatible 2400’.
4) Select the Modem type closest to your modem from the pop-up menu.
5) Click the ‘OK’ button.
6) Click the ‘Save’ button.
7) Click the ‘Login’ button to call Channel Z.
Important
Do NOT use the “Save As...” command from within the FirstClass Client software. This command does NOT save all the resources like it should, so make a duplicate of the settings file from within your Macs Finder (check your Macintosh manuals if you need to).
